Discover & Understand
This phase focuses on gaining clarity around the problem space by exploring stakeholder insights, conducting user interviews, reviewing competitive products, and analyzing existing data. Activities such as heuristic evaluations, research planning, and synthesizing early findings help establish a solid understanding of user needs, business goals, and potential constraints.
Define & Align
Insights gathered during discovery are transformed into a clear direction for the project. Personas, empathy maps, and journey maps are created to articulate user behaviors and pain points, while problem statements and prioritized opportunities help sharpen the focus. Scope, requirements, and success metrics are aligned with stakeholders to ensure everyone shares a unified vision before design begins.

Design & Iterate
Concepts begin to take shape through sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that explore various solutions. User flows and interaction models are refined through feedback loops that include usability testing and stakeholder reviews. Iteration at this stage ensures the emerging design is both intuitive for users and aligned with business objectives.
Deliver & Support
The final phase translates refined concepts into polished, development-ready designs. High-fidelity UI screens, design system components, interaction specs, and accessibility considerations are documented for a smooth handoff. Ongoing collaboration with development teams, along with QA participation and post-launch recommendations, helps ensure that the implemented product reflects the intended experience.
